Fallout2 Patch 1.04 (Unofficial) by Enclave Interactive & FMC INTRO: Here is a patch that fixes bugs listed below. It contains all fixes from the 1.02 & 1.03 versions (to find out about them, see the readme.txt and this file). You should REALLY use this one if you are just starting the game. When you start the game, it will show that you're running the 1.02 version. This is normal. If you don't like it, close your eyes when moving around the menu ;). INSTALLATION: US Place the patch000.dat, fallout2.exe and this file into the game directory. UK Place the patch000.dat and this file into the game directory. Then unpack the uk.zip file and overwrite everything. 1.03: - Improved Flamer will do proper damage - Magneto-Laser Pistol does proper damage and has greater range - FN FAL HPFA now has a description - Changed the capacity of Expanded Assault Rifle from 100 to 48 - Changed the capacity of Expanded Desert Eagle from 20 to 12 - Changed the capacity of .44 Magnum (SpeedLoader) from 6 to 12 and decreased range from 20 to 15 - Small fix in the Enclave computer terminal - Grisham will no longer call Balthas Balthus (Or Balthos, I can't quite remember.) - A fix in Badger's dialogue - Tubby will now tell you about Redding - Marge will no longer say that Dan supports the NCR - Some small fixes in President Richardson's dialogue - Vault City gate guard will now call Marcus a mutant and Lenny a ghoul - Fixed and changed some map names (For example in Modoc, the B&B section didn't have any name after the toilet explosion.) - Changed the firing sounds of Bozar and M60 - Small fix in Merk's dialogue - Nording will now say he gives you $50 instead of $500 - Raiders Base is now hidden - Pulse Rifle now has a projectile - A fix in Doc Johnson's dialogue involving the Phoenix Implants price - Changed some quest names - Little change in Dunton's dialogue - You have now a 95% chance of getting addicted to Jet and 25% to Mentans - Using a poison you can actually... poison yourself (Strange, isn't it?) - Eating Iguana-on-a-stick will now heal you - Drinking Gamma Gulp Beer and Roentgen Rum will now radiate you (5 and 10 rads) - Many quest items now have a price - The Poison Tank now has the same ground pic as the Oxygen Tank - A change in the armor class 1.04: - The armor class is back to normal - Adv.
